My Engagement Party

Daniel and I celebrated our engagement/birthdays a week ago with a 50s themed party.

It was a lot of fun. Most guests dressed up in 50s attire. We had karaoke, old movies playing on TV screens. We had the party catered and had gourmet retro diner food: chilli fries, mini hamburgers, mini hot dogs, ribs, southern fried chicken, etc. Mum also had her backyard decked out and dressed by staging people. It was amazing.

Here are some pictures from the night taken by our wonderful friend, Nadine.

  4. Dear Amy

I am a french parisian fan and I love your work , especially your makeup vidéo .

I love old fashion , pinup world ... Please go on , it is so delightful !!

My own blog talks about old fashion too , but with vintage fabrics , sheet , crosstitch ... and a lot about Asia civilisation .

A may advise you to just have a look on a 100 % french-made haberdashery named SAJOU . Sajou was an ancient trademark that was given a second life recently and it is very successful because of the old fashioned designs and the very good quality of its products .
